Real Food Tastes Good

Cheeto puffs!!!

Max eating a pickle spear. He freaked out when Jeremy took away the first one. This is second one he devoured (we didn't let him eat the harder part).

Hollywood Party

For Noah's 8th birthday he wanted a Hollywood themed party. Noah claims that when he gets older he wants to be a director and lately he's been asking to take acting classes (my cousin teaches a kids acting class at the new Muse Studio in Orem), so this theme seemed to fit him. Only three of the nine kids showed up (bummer!) so I had to resort to inviting a couple of extra neighbor kids last minute so we'd have enough kids to play the games. It all worked out and Noah wasn't too upset about the sudden change of plans. I think he was mostly excited that the little girl he likes was one of the three that attended.

Noah's Oscar cake. It's not exactly what I had envisioned, but when the cake decorators at the bakery don't speak English very well, you're bound to have a little miscommunication error.

One of the games we played. This one was "Pin the Oscar on the Celebrity." Our celebrity happened to be actress Kristen Stewart who plays Bella on Twilight.

The treat bags the guests left with. Inside was a package of microwave popcorn, a rice krispie treat, and a fun dip candy. Since the box wasn't as big as we initially thought, we accompanied each box with a can of root beer or a can of pink lemonade.

One of the gifts Noah received (water guns). He also received Transformer walkie-talkies, a football, and Atlantis legos.

Left to Right: Caiden H., Jessica P., Maizie, Alora, Noah, Makenzie D., Jackson, and Lizbeth P.

Student of the Month (again!)

Noah, receiving his award. His teacher was gone, so the substitute read why Noah was chosen from his class for the month of March. (Noah did not like this sub. He said he heard her say "jerk-ass" when they were turning in papers yesterday.)

Noah with his award. This is the third straight year he's been chosen as Student of the Month.

It's Great to be Eight!

We now officially have an eight year old... it's crazy how fast the years have flown by! For his birthday dinner, Noah chose to go to Chuckie Cheese.

Noah got all of the scouting stuff he needs to start next week!

Noah's uncle Teaaron was even able to join us.
