Vegas Baby!

Jeremy's employer, Pacific Dental Services, promised all of their employees last year that if they broke a specific monetary amount collected by the company, then they would send everyone to Vegas for the weekend this year.  The employees didn't only meet the expectations, they exceeded it!  So, holding true to their promise, the entire company came to Vegas this weekend, spouses included!  Talk about an awesome reward!  Most of us stayed at the Paris Hotel, located on the center of the strip.

Jeremy & I mostly walked the strip and checked out all the hotels.  It was pretty fun to "people watch" and see how the later it got, the less clothing people wore.  We didn't see any big shows, but did catch the Titantic exhibit, which was pretty amazing.  Besides many of the artifacts recovered from the ship, we also got to see a giant chunk of the ship that took several years to recover and then preserve.  It was pretty surreal.  (A special thanks to my mom and brother, Christopher, for watching our kids for the weekend!)

Penny slots aren't as much fun when they don't take actual pennies!

Jeremy loves his Diet Coke and this can was huge!

More street people...

On Saturday night we had a company party at the Paris gardens and the Chateau nightclub.  While Jeremy and I were playing a little foosball, who happened to join us but Elvis himself!

Max's Monster Party

Max chose a monster theme for his 3rd Birthday party.  We normally wait until the kids are four years old to have their first friend party, but Max has talked non-stop about his monster party and all of his friends that he wanted to come.  We broke tradition and gave in and threw him his MONSTER PARTY.

This was the monster cake Max picked out for his birthday.  The house must have been a little warm because the frosting wasn't quite stiff enough, but Max and the kids didn't care.  Just use your imagination!

Pin the Eye on the Monster!

We fed this monster some ping pong eyeballs and then Max pretended the monster ate him.

What three-year old party doesn't have a pinata?!

Opening presents with his friends (pictured are Endrick H., Drew & Will H., Dayley W., and Emorsyn G.).

One of the surprises in the favor bags... monster glasses!
