Happy 1st Birthday Mr. Max!

HAPPY 1st BIRTHDAY MAX!

For each of our kids' first birthday, we have spaghetti. It's fun to let them get a little messy for a change.

After dinner we went swimming, which Max loves.

Max eating his smash cake. Poor kid was so tired that he ate the cake in slow motion.

San Diego

Alora's first time at on ocean beach. This was the Pacific Beach in San Diego, California.

Alora LOVED the beach!

The Shamu show at Sea World.

You could buy a plate of little fish to throw to these guys. Too bad the line was long!

Alora, Noah, and Max checking out the flamingos.

The Pets Show at Sea World. They rescue shelter animals and train them for this amazing show.

One of the performing cats. This cat ran across a high tightrope.

Apparently Bert was hungry and thought Max was lunch.

Alora was super excited to see Elmo. Even though she doesn't even really watch Sesame Street, she does love the Elmo's World segment.

Status of Our New Home

Less than 40 days and we should be able to start moving into our new home in the Estrella Mountain Ranch area of Goodyear, Arizona. We are super excited to get out of our cramped apartment and into something permanent. Below are some pictures of the house taken just two days ago.

Our laundry room. It has five cabinets along the left side of the room and those awesome huge front load washer and dryer will soon be installed.

The upstairs loft (aka kids family room). We have a balcony up there too!

A view of the kitchen looking into the family room. Where the photographer was standing is the large breakfast nook. All that's really left is the tile, granite countertops and stainless steel appliances.

The current view of our house. We don't know for sure what the exact end colors are going to be.
