Alora officially graduated from preschool tonight. This past year she has attended Little Learners Preschool, a home-based preschool taught by our friends Carlie Wray and Lisa Hobbs. Alora has loved every minute of it. She is only one of three kids actually going to kindergarten this next year, so she's a little sad to leave her friends behind. I know she'll do great in kindergarten though, thanks to Ms. Carlie and Ms. Lisa!

"I Poo in Blue"
Have you seen those limited edition Huggies brand jean diapers? Jeremy and I have made fun of them ever since we first saw them. Are these supposed to make us feel better about letting our babies and toddlers walk around in diapers because they look like actual pants? It's not like people care what picture or design is on someone elses kid's diaper.

There is also a new commercial for these diapers that started airing recently on t.v. "I poo in blue" is one of the dumbest lines in the commercial! (Sidenote: the baby in the commercial is also wearing too small of a shirt which bugs me.) http://www.huggies.com/
All kidding aside, I should mention that Mr. Max is now sportin' these laughable pants. I didn't waste a single penny on them... they were completely 100% free! How, do you ask? Simple! I found a deal on http://www.drugstore.com/ where the size 4 Huggies jean diapers were on sale for $1.99/pack. (Yes, that cheap.) Then, I went through http://www.shoprunner.com/ where I scored free shipping. Lastly, I used my paypal account as payment since I had money from a survey deposited in it, making them free, free, free! I did this scenario twice and today I received 50 or so diapers at my doorstep. You can't beat free, even if these diapers aren't something I'd want Max to sport around town.

Crowdtap
Earlier this week I joined Crowdtap. Crowdtap is a revolutionary social marketing and research platform that enables you to be rewarded for ideating and promoting with leading brands, entertainment properties, non-profits and startups. Earn cash rewards for yourself and charity for taking surveys, sampling new products and promoting your favorite brands.
After taking several super-short surveys, I moved up in my rankings and was offered an Old Navy deal for active wear pants. I will be receiving a coupon in the mail for a free pair, as well as 3 additional coupons for free pants for my friends. How cool is that? About a month ago they had a similar promotion for free ankle jeans and spring dresses at Old Navy. Once I receive the pants, all I have to do is review them on my blog or Facebook account and I'm done. Super easy!
Check it out- http://crowdtap.com/invitations/4db4ae741a45ca6e4a0000da It's pretty cool!

Spider Monkey
The big project for 3rd grade is their year-end animal report. They have to research an animal, build their habitat, create a poster, give a class presentation, and if desired, create another form of media to present their animal (for extra credit).
Noah chose the spider monkey. After much research, he made the poster shown below and created the jungle habitat to show where this animal lives. He also made a fun crossword puzzle for his classmates that he will hand out after his presentation.
