Scout Camp=No Showers For a Week!

Estrella Hills Young Men Scout Camp (Noah is in the purple DC jacket)

Noah just returned yesterday from his first Scout Camp.  Their camp was located at the Coconino National Forest, Blue Lake Reservoir.  The camp was only a week long, but Noah still managed to complete two merit badges, Cooking and Environmental Science.  He also worked on his Pioneering badge, but didn't have enough time to complete it.

Pinewood Derby Champs Again

Today was the boys' Pinewood Derby.  This was also Noah's last race as a Cub Scout and he went out in style... earning 2nd place at of all the boys!  Jackson also did pretty well again, this time earning 4th place.  Way to go boys!

Pinewood Derby Champs



Zach Hobbs 1st Place, Jackson Fuls 2nd Place, Noah Fuls 3rd Place

Congratulations are in order for both Noah and Jackson who smoked their competition tonight at Pack 599's Pinewood Derby!  Noah took home the 3rd place trophy and Jackson the 2nd place trophy.  They actually tied on the last race, but a coin toss and additional race later, their placements were earned.  (Special thanks to Grandpa Frye and Uncle Christopher for all their help in shaping their cars!)
