One of Jeremy's offices (Every Kid's Dentist, Buckeye) won office of the year and Jeremy was awarded the company's beach house for the weekend. This particular beach house was in Newport Beach, California (they own several homes) and the timing perfectly coincided with our Disneyland vacation.
The house was located on the Balboa Pennisula, right across from the famous "Wedge." This is where body surfers and boogie boarders come to ride the giant waves. The first morning we were there, we noticed there were a ton of photographers. We thought maybe they were paparazzi, but they were just photographers trying to catch the best picture.
This section of beach, where our house was located, was perfect. We pretty much had the beach to ourselves and the kids loved looking for shells, digging in the sand, and chasing the waves. Despite sunblock, we all pretty much left with nice little sunburns.
