This past week Noah has been celebrating Dr. Seuss in his first grade class. Each day they have done different activites based on his books. Today they were invited to dress up as a Dr. Seuss character for their class party. We didn't get the notes on this until Wednesday afternoon, so yesterday was a scramble to figure out what costume we could quickly put together. Of course none of the stores we went to had what we needed, so we ended up with making the easiest costume... Thing #1. Noah, of course, loved it. We heard him up way before 6 a.m. and when he knew we were awake, he ran in asking to put on his shirt and have his hair sprayed blue.

We had Dr. Suess week too. I felt like the lame-o mom b/c they were supposed to bring in their favorite Dr. Suess book and we don't even own one! Nerd am I. Hope the Fuls are flood free!
that looks so fun, this year we are in half day kindergarten with jack and he's loving it, cant wait for next year, first grade, looks like fun.
