Happy Birthday Noah!

This past Wednesday, March 18th, Noah turned 7. For about the last month or so, he's been counting done the days and when the 17th arrived, he informed us we needed to hang up the Happy Birthday banner and we needed to go buy him some balloons so when he woke up the next morning they'd be by his bed.

Since he wasn't going to have a friends birthday party this year, he decided that for the family activity he wanted to go to a bouncing place. He chose "Bouncin' Off the Walls" located in Sandy. This place is full of large blow-ups and by far the kids' favorite activity was the slide. The boys got a little frustrated after a while because most of the other kids there kept butting in line and climbing over the side of the slide, but they managed to hold their own. (Where were their parents you might ask? Oh yes, they were there, but they were too involved in either taking the perfect picture of their bratty child or in carrying on conversations with another parent.)

For dinner Noah chose the oh-so-glamorous McDonald's, which was followed by a Spongebob cake and mint chocolate chip ice cream at home.

Noah was smart enough to see that it wasn't recommended to wear glasses on the bouncing toys. Jeremy, however, bounced once on the basketball blow-up and a lens popped out of his glasses.

We had to relight the cake because Alora kept blowing out Noah's candles.

One his favorite gifts, Mario Party for the Nintendo DS.
