Diggin' for Dinos

Way back in March of this year, Noah got this dinosaur extracting kit from his Grandpa and Grandma Frye. We had never opened it, partly because we had to keep the house clean since it was on the market, but last week when he complained he was bored (which he does a TON now), I brought out the kit for him to do. Holy cow, even though he had fun doing it, it was one very messy project!

Noah showing where he had already chiseled the outline of some bones out.

Noah working to extract the bones. Notice Jackson's arm on the side... he was the official duster. (That's probably where most of the mess came from. Dirt was flying everywhere!)

Noah and Jackson with one of the ribcages they pulled out. (See how messy they got? That was only the beginning...)
