Orange Tree

This past weekend we purchased our first citrus trees. We purchased two different orange trees, a Valencia and a Trovita. Both are supposed to do really well in our climate and will produce fruit at different times of the year. We also purchased a Lisbon lemon tree. Since we haven't landscaped our backyard yet and don't know where the trees will eventually end up, we are currently transplanting these trees into pots and setting them on our back porch. Some of the trees even have fruit on them already!

This is one of several fruit on our Trovita orange tree. With this variety, you can harvest the fruit in November.
