A Few Bumps and Bruises...

My sister, Kenya, turned 33 today.  She wanted to carry on her tradition of bowling on her birthday, but the lanes near us were too busy, so she chose to go roller skating instead.  Even though none of us have skated in FOREVER, we were super excited to go and take the kids for their first time.  It wasn't until we got there and put our shoes on that we quickly realized, "What were we thinking?!"  Skating is hard enough for ourselves, let alone with our kids clinging desperately to us!  

Luckily, the rink was like a ghost town when we got there, so that was a blessing.  So despite falling, crashing, and everything you can think of that can happen while on skates, we all managed to skate a little and have a fun time.
