Noah was awarded "Student of the Month" today at school. How it works is each teacher in each class picks one student from their respective classes that they believe demonstrates outstanding behavior and performance. Noah's class has 27 students and he was the first one of the school year to be chosen. They held a little assembly this morning where the teachers explained why they chose each student. Noah's teacher, Miss Groom, said that she chose Noah because he always listens the first time, is quick to do what is asked, always has something nice to say to everyone, and is just an all-around nice, caring person. Noah was then presented with a certificate (shown above), an Eagle Valley Elementary pencil, and a certificate for a free ice cream at Artic Circle. Noah was pretty excited to be the first kid in his class to receive this award. Less than 1/3 of his class will even receive it over the course of the year. This is Noah's 2nd year in a row to earn this honor and we are so proud of his accomplishments!

(All 8 of the 1st grade class recipients.)
