For Jackson's 6th birthday we took him to
Pirates Island in Orem. This family-friendly restaurant opened this past August and is kind of a cross between the Mayan restaurant and Chuckie Cheese. Their menu consists of pizza, pastas, sandwiches, and much more. They also have an arcade where you can redeem your tickets for pirate prizes. The staff is dressed in pirate garb and some of them even speak like pirates (our waitress did not, she just had a British accent). Overall, the kids had fun. Jeremy and I didn't think it was
that spectacular and the pizza is better at Chuckie Cheese, but it was something different for the kids to do, which is often hard to find!

Noah rocked the Guitar Hero game and even placed 8th on the scoreboard. It was fun to watch some of the passing-by adults stop and stare at how well he was doing and to see their expressions. He scored 97% correct on the notes. Not too shabby for playing in an arcade where people constantly bump into you!

Mr. Max

Crazy man Jack is six! How crazy is that?! (His candles were supposed to be the trick candles, but it took them FOREVER to relight. By the time they finally did, I'm sure the cake was covered in spit from Jackson
and Noah. Yum!)

Jackson's expression is hilarious. Talk about perfect timing with the camera!
